ABOUT

Sepidar is a multidisciplinary artist residing in Canada. Her years of experience, working with different mediums like 2D paintings and mural, 3D conceptual art, documentaries and video performances address her concerns of different social issues like immigration, gender inequality, discrimination, sexual harrasments and identity.

She has been working as a full time artist for more than 25 years and performing many exhibitions globally. 

When the Ukrainian airplane was shot down by the Iranian government in January 2020 Sepidar utilized all the skills she had previously acquired and produced her first short film, achieving considerable success as a result.

Sepidar also had been working as a reporter on Iran international news television since 2023, reporting on successful Canadians/Iranians, from members of the Canadian Parliament to famous figures around the world, and conducting exclusive interviews.
