“Five Big Macs for Salvation '' is the story of a desperate female immigrant who suffers from chronic anxiety. Her random thoughts, combined with the actual events of daily life overwhelm her and generate a constant conversation in her head. The woman takes medications for her anxiety which have gradually developed delusional thoughts as side effects.
When the Ukrainian airplane was shot down by the Iranian government in January 2020, the horrifying incident triggered post traumatic symptoms from the time she left her country to her voluntary exile. Apparent loss of her husband in the incident, combined with her past memories, cause her to rapidly go downhill with severe depression and confusion, incapable of bearing and handling the functions of daily life.
Dreaming Reality" is about the rapid speed of technology in the world that has affected all living beings, a speed that has forced us to move further away from the natural course of our lives day by day.

Amphibious is an attempt to illustrate the intricate process of forging a new identity and navigating the challenges immigrants face while carrying the weight of their roots from another land. The character of Raha, a young Iranian-Canadian immigrant, intimately captures the profound struggle of adapting memories, a sense of belonging, and the complexities of her dual existence. The film delves into her arduous journey of finding equilibrium amidst the tumultuous events in her homeland, the chaotic political landscape of the world, and the life she is building.
